Kerikeri for Families — Overview
Kerikeri is a small town in the Bay of Islands region, about 25 minutes from Paihia. It's home to NZ's oldest stone building (the Stone Store, 1835) and some of the country's most pleasant walking. The Rainbow Falls (Waianiwaniwa) are nearby and spectacular. Kerikeri is also the craft and art capital of Northland — the Saturday market is excellent.
