Why November is the Travel Industry's Open Secret
- Summer weather — average highs of 20-22C across most of NZ by late November
- No school holidays = no crowds at major attractions
- Campervan prices are still 15-25% below December/January rates
- Holiday parks have excellent availability — no booking 6 months ahead required
- Daylight until 9pm+ makes for very long activity days
- Long weekends: Labour Day (last Monday of October) sometimes extends into early November — check dates
